Olivier Desvaux is graduated from Arts Deco in Paris in 2006. His professional debut was marked by illustration in youth publishing. Olivier has regularly exhibited his paintings in galleries since 2010 in Le Havre, Rouen, Paris and Tokyo. This painter-traveler captures light, the elements and living things throughout his numerous journeys.

He works in the workshop with these imprints of memory and emotion. His ambition is to be a sensitive witness to our contemporary world and to reveal its poetry. He lives and works in Villequier on the banks of the Seine.

"My fascination with nature and light naturally led me to painting. I set out to conquer outdoor painting. I traveled the world with my easel, I immersed myself in different worlds I followed sporting events (sailing races, polo tournaments, etc.) and artistic performances (classical music concerts, Opéra Garnier ballets, etc.) in painting. alive I need to have this intimate exchange with my subject to paint it better and sincerely express my feelings. Working in the studio from these imprints of memory allows me to take the necessary distance to detach myself from the motif. , compose, make choices, interpret, work on nuances, contrasts, give strength and meaning to the painting. I have a contemplative and optimistic approach to the world, I wish to share a certain poetry of light.
